From planning to teaching to evaluating student work, sharing the load and making the most of each team member’s strengths ensures that everyone on the team and in the class learns more. In addition, helping teaching assistants to become fully invested in the team and the teaching of the course helps develop professional expertise and can lead to lasting professional relationships.
